History of 18 Granger St

Located in southern Vermont where the Saxtons river joins the mighty Connecticut, a steady cool drink, the Granger st mill was originally part of a complex built to produce “fancy paper” (tissue and ribbon) in the early 1900’s.  Less than a mile from America’s first permanent hydro-electric plant and directly adjacent to the smaller tributary for direct power, 18 was built strong.

In the hundred years that followed the mill was owned by Vermont Paper and later by our friends Al and Gail Gehley who operated Vermont Graphics till the building was purchased by it’s current owner 18 Granger LLC.
